Wristwatch Imports to Georgia Increased

In 11 months of 2025, the country purchased 63 tons of wristwatches

In 11 months of 2025, Georgia purchased 63 tons of wristwatches worth $6.157 million, which is 18.9% higher than the same period in 2024. At that time, the country imported 65,000 watches for $5.176 million. At the same time, the volume of deliveries decreased slightly - by 3%, which indicates an increase in the average cost per unit of production.

Switzerland remains the leader in terms of delivery value: the country paid $1.9 million for 2 tons of watches. Hong Kong follows with $1.5 million for 7 tons, China with $1.1 million for 46 tons, as well as Germany and Spain, which supplied 1 ton of watches each for $550,000 and $310,000, respectively.

Thus, the most expensive models continue to come from Switzerland, and the affordable ones from China. The increase in prices for imported watches reflects both global trends and changes in demand in Georgia, where buyers continue to prefer premium and rare models.
