Wizz Air launches Bratislava-Kutaisi flights on modern Airbus

Direct regular air service has been opened for the first time between the capital of Slovakia and Georgia. The Bratislava-Kutaisi-Bratislava flight is operated three times a week, and a fourth flight will be added from March. Flights are operated on modern Airbus A321neo aircraft, which ensures comfort and reliability of flights.

Prior to this, there were no direct flights between the countries, and the new route became the first in this direction. Bratislava, located close to Vienna and Budapest, is an important aviation hub in Central Europe, opening up new opportunities for tourism, cultural trips and business for Georgian citizens.

Wizz Air already operates flights from Kutaisi to 24 destinations in 12 countries, including Lyon and Venice. Since the launch of operations in Georgia in 2012, the airline has transported almost 9 million passengers, and the opening of the new route will further strengthen Georgia's ties with Central Europe.
